It almost seems obvious – today – to expect from me a meme, a zinger or a joke: to be considered a “court jester” by the Italian art system has always been my greatest aspiration.
It’s not the criticism that interests me – I wouldn’t be able to do that! –, it is mostly unconditional love for the phenomenon I observe, the visualization of the collateral beauty of the market, the rituals and the gossip of this social framework.
If art has to do with obsessions, I have made hysteria and the contradictions that characterize the world of art, my obsession.
